General Rules
- Every team can have a maximum of 15 players, and must have a minimum of 11 players. Four extra players is recommended, since this is a tournament and one team can be playing as many as four times in the group stages itself.
- The Team Captain is responsible for informing all of the teammates about when the team will be playing and on what dates. Our responsibility is to tell the Captain when his team will be playing.
- The group stage & super group games shall be composed of 15 overs an innings while the semi-finals and finals will be 20 overs a side games.
- All teams are given 4 minutes per over (70 min for league and 90 min for semis and finals) to complete their allotted overs.
- In A 5 minute break shall be taken after the 7th over & a 10 minute break shall be taken between two innings for group stage & super group games.
- Each league game is scheduled to be completed in approx. 150 minutes (2.5 hrs) and the semis and finals in 210 min (3.5 hrs).
- The playing composition of a team has to be present 15 minutes before the start of their game. Failing to do so will result in the automatic loss of toss for the team in question.
- In case both teams are missing players then the one with more players present on the ground at the start of the game are declared toss winners.
- 1 run is awarded to the batting team for wides and no balls plus an extra delivery.
- A bowler can bowl a maximum of 4 overs in an inning for group stage & super group games and 5 overs in an inning for the semi-finals and finals.
- A minimum of 4 bowlers are required in every team & a keeper is compulsory.
- Byes, leg byes and overthrows are possible means of scoring runs.
- LBW decisions will not apply.
- A person can take the field as a player for a maximum of one team.
- Bowlers are allowed to bowl one bouncer per batsmen per over without being called for a no ball. Unplayable bouncers will be declared wide and the rules pertaining to wides shall be followed
Points
Group Stage (6 Groups, 19 Teams)
- In the group stage 4 points are awarded for a win (including walk-over) and in case of a tie/draw both the teams get 2 point each.
- If both teams do not turn up for a match, it will be declared as No-Result & no points would be awarded to either team.
- The winning team can earn an additional bonus point if a) they chase the runs at a run rate of 1.25 times the required run rate or b) restrict the team batting second to a total of 0.8 times the runs scored.
- The top two teams from each group will move into the next stage.
- In case of equal points in the group stage games, the team with better Net Run Rate (NRR) will proceed to the next stage. If both tied teams have the same NRR, the team which won the head-to-head contest would proceed to the next stage. In case of a 3-way tie, the teams with highest NRR will move to the next round.
Super Groups (4 Groups, 12 Teams)
- In the super groups stage 4 points are awarded for a win (including walk-over) and in case of a tie/draw both the teams get 2 point each.
- If both teams do not turn up for a match, it will be declared as No-Result & no points would be awarded to either team.

- If the final or semi-final is tied then there will be a super over to break the tie.
Match Officials
- Umpires will be chosen by the organizing committee through nominations from the team captions & their decision regarding the choice of umpires is final.
- The umpire’s decision is final and should be respected, teams are expected to compete & engage in fair play.
- The umpire has the right to call a bowler for chucking and doing so would result in the particular ball being declared a no-ball. Two warnings will be given to the bowler and captain. The third such call against a bowler in the entire series will disqualify the bowler from bowling another ball in the entire series.
- Bowling more than one beamer in a game disqualifies the bowler from continuing to bowl in that particular game. All beamers bowled shall be treated as no balls and the rules pertaining to no-balls shall be followed.
- Team captains are expected to read all rules & keep their teams informed of the same. Exceptions to the above may be made if the organizing committee so decides.
- For every game, the umpires will decide on the fair play points for each team (out of 10). The team with the highest fair play points at the end of the super group stage will receive a fair play award.
Tournament Schedule Format
Group Stage (6 Groups, 19 Teams)
- Six groups with 3* teams in each group (*1 group with four teams), each team will play the other teams in the group twice.

Super Groups (4 Groups, 12 Teams)
- Four groups of 3 teams each.
- A total of 24 matches is scheduled for the Super Groups.
- The Top team from each group moves to the Semi-Finals.
Semi-Finals & Finals
- Four teams make it to the semi-finals.
- The winners of the semi-finals move to the finals.
